The most interesting aspect of this anime is that it is a continuation or remake of the original Fullmetal Alchemist which was airing in 2003. Unlike the original version, FMA: Brotherhood goes into a more detailed storyline and has better animation than its predecessor. The story starts out with the main character, Edward Elric and his brother who perform alchemy by trying to seek out an item called "Philosopher's Stone" which can be used to resurrect the dead and turn any object to gold. The first episode is a quick introduction of the main characters. While I have not read the manga, the storyline was still very interesting for me even without reading it. I found myself watching this anime n multiple occasions just to watch some episode again.Source: My site has no access to the Japanese language so I had to translate this with Google translate. As you can see, some things are kind of cut out which makes it hard to understand certain parts of the Japanese dialogue, while there are also stretches of Japanese dialogue in English making it difficult for me to properly convey what's being said in Japanese while trying to translate it into English or vice versa.
